Courses are organized according to the schedules, dates and programs established by the teachers appointed by UpToDate, which reserves the right, at any time, to amend any aspect of the course as may be necessary.
By enrolling on any course offered by the Academy, students agree to meet the terms of the disciplinary rules of the Academy, as this corresponds to a condition of the agreement between students and the Academy. Compliance with the disciplinary rules includes a good attendance record, respect for the courses’ schedules and a responsible attitude towards the staff of the Academy as well as any equipment within the Academy. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in disciplinary measures being taken against the offending student (which may involve the expulsion of the student from the relevant course). To the fullest extent permitted by Italian law, the Academy reserves the right to claim damages in relation to any loss caused by the student.
The examination papers, together with any material produced by the students during the examinations (pursuant the Italian Law # 675/96) shall be deemed property of the academy. Students allow the Academy to exhibit, reproduce and/or publish assignments and any material produced by them during the courses/programs duration .
No variation to this agreement shall be valid unless agreed in writing between the parties.
For programs held on campus, the agreement between the Academy and students shall be subject to the Italian law and the parties hereby agree that the Italian courts in Milan shall have sole jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of this agreement.
